Yes — that's the core use case. PDFs aren't editable directly, so the AI extracts the content into structured sections you can edit, then regenerates a fresh PDF. Scanned PDFs and photos work too, via image recognition.
Will the parsed version match my original exactly?+
The content — jobs, dates, wording — carries over faithfully, and you review it section by section before anything is final. The visual layout intentionally does not: it's replaced by whichever template you choose, which is usually why people come here.
Does the AI rewrite my CV without asking?+
No. AI rewriting is opt-in per bullet or per section, every suggestion is shown before/after, and you accept or reject each one. Undo works throughout, and your original upload is never modified.
