Data Deletion Policy
How to permanently delete your MobileCV.ai account and the data associated with it.
Delete your account from inside the app
The fastest and most complete way to delete your data is the Delete account button on your account page. It removes your CVs, cover letters, uploads, and account record in one step.
- 1 Sign in to your MobileCV.ai account.
- 2 Open Account › Settings.
- 3 Click Delete account and confirm.
Can't sign in? Email us.
If you've lost access to your account, send a deletion request from the email address on file to privacy@mobilecv.ai. We verify ownership before deleting and reply within 7 days.
Signed in with Facebook?
You can also trigger deletion from Facebook itself: go to Settings & privacy › Settings › Apps and websites, find MobileCV.ai, and remove it. Facebook will send us a deletion request automatically and you'll be redirected here with a confirmation code.
What gets deleted & when
- Immediately: your account is deactivated and removed from active databases (CVs, cover letters, uploads, profile, login).
- Within 30 days: all generated PDFs and source files are purged from object storage.
- Within 60 days: encrypted backups containing your data are rotated out and unrecoverable.
- Retained where required by law: minimal records such as payment receipts and anti-fraud logs may be kept for the period mandated by tax and consumer-protection rules. Access is restricted to compliance personnel.
